Chef Wenford Patrick Simpson's journey from growing up in poverty in Jamaica to pursuing his passion for the culinary arts as a teenager and becoming a world-class executive chef is a story that is both inspiring and motivating. At only 17 years old, Chef Simpson, affectionately known as "Chef Patrick", took his talents to the seas, working as a sous chef for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and Disney Cruise lines. After an 11-year career on the seas, Chef Patrick became the executive chef of Negril Village, an upscale Caribbean restaurant and popular hotspot located in New York City’s Greenwich Village. These experiences have allowed him to perfect the Caribbean-American style of cooking that Chef Patrick is known for. After a myriad of tenures throughout New York City, including serving as Corporate Executive Chef for the B.B. King Blue Club & Grill, Chef Simpson now delights customers with his flavorful food at Sony Hall and the Highland Ballroom in NYC and their sister property The Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. Chef Patrick delights connects with and delights fans with his various television endeavors, including Cook-Up with Chef Patrick on the Tempo Network and Inna Di Kitchen on the CIN Network and CEEN TV. Chef Patrick, who presently serves as brand ambassador for the Walkerswood Caribbean Foods, is also slated to premiere a new television project on the Food Network in 2019, and is steadily making his unique mark in the culinary world.
